Waveaxis’ Global Sourcing Services team provides end to end solutions for the manufacture and sourcing of parts and products for its clients worldwide. We are aware of the manufacturing industry’s technical requirements, as well as its unique challenges.
Our goal is to reduce time-to-market as well as increase profitability by reducing costs.
The Sourcing Process by WAVEAXIS includes the following steps:
– Waveaxis conducts a detailed feasibility study of the product drawings, material specifications, required amount and quality with target delivery date.
Vendor identification
– Waveaxis has partnered with several reliable and reputed manufacturing partners. Once we have studied the requirements of the client we start talking to our vendors to establish production capability, availability, quality and price.
Prototype development
- If price and quality parameters are acceptable by the client, Waveaxis will then work with the selected vendor(s) to produce sample prototypes for approval by our customer.
Order placement
– Upon approvals of samples and receipt of purchase order we then in turn place the order with our vendors.
Logistics Management
- Once the product is manufactured and ready for shipment, Waveaxis performs and verifies all export logistics, including local documentation, customs, licensing and tariff requirements, in the most efficient and economical way possible to insure timely delivery.
Our activities include part sourcing & manufacturing, tool and fixture manufacturing, prototyping and complete product manufacturing.
Prototyping
At Waveaxis, we work closely with our Rapid Prototyping vendors to ensure timely development & delivery of quality prototypes. These services include:
- Bill of Material (BOM) costing and procurement
- PCB manufacture
- Assembly
- Design and development of SLA models
The prototype boards manufactured by Waveaxis' business partners undergo field trials at the clients' site for final verification before transfer to volume manufacturing.
